Carolina Solar Energy developed four transmission interconnected, 70 MW dc size projects in Duke Energy Progress service territory that were commissioned in 2017-2018 (Bullock, Buckleberry, Fox Creek and Brantley). These four projects were some of the first transmission connected solar projects to be built in North Carolina. The Bullock solar project lies just east of Kerr Lake, on a parcel of land that has been in the Bullock family for several generations.
